I am a brazilian student of Physics and Applied Mathematics.
My main interests are

  • fundamental problems in Turbulent Flow, specially blowup existence and its consequences,
  • numerical methods for differential equations,
  • computational mathematics and HPC.
  • hyperbolic conservation laws and travelling wave phenomena.

Studies and Experience

B.Sc. in Physics (2010-2014) from the University of Brasília (UnB), Brasília, Brazil.

M.Sc. in Computational Mathematics and Modeling (2014-2016) from the National Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA), Rio de Janeiro.
Studied blowup in shell models for Magnetohydrodynamic Turbulence, producing the dissertation Asymptotic Blowup Solutions in MHD Shell Model of Turbulence under Prof. Alexei A. Mailybaev.
Studied Numerical Analysis of PDE's and the theory of Hyperbolic Conservation Laws with Prof. Dan Marchesin.

Scholarship for technical capacity and support in parallel computing (2016-2017) at the Fluid Dynamics Laboratory at IMPA, Rio de Janeiro.
Studying code optimization and parallel computing in multi-cpu (using OpenMP) and gpu (using CUDA) systems.
